Be wary of illegal animal trade
The Animal Concerns Research and Education Society (Acres) yesterday launched its “Wild But Not Free” campaign to raise awareness about the booming illegal pet trade which is threatening the existence of wildlife in Asia. Among the 10 celebrities endorsing its campaign is actress Irene Ang. The public can call the new Acres Wildlife Crime Hotline at 9783 7782 to blow the whistle on illegal wildlife traders and buyers.
